A message from the Chief

To all prospective members:

I would personally like to thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department. This is certainly an opportunity to be of valuable service to the community. A volunteer firefighter saves thousands of dollars annually for the tax paying citizens of the area. We continually strive to provide the best service possible.

The community holds members of the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department in high regard. This means that our conduct must always be above reproach! I believe the community deserves the best we can provide. Even though you are a volunteer, everyone from the citizens of the community to the building that is on fire will treat you as a professional.

This is an extensive undertaking and will require a strong commitment on your part.
