Sunday, August 3rd, 2014 – At 04:57 am the St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department Fire Response Boat responded to a working structure fire in the Three Rivers Island Community of Livingston Parish. Three Rivers Island is a golf cart community built on the Ascension and Livingston Parish lines. Even though the golf cart bridge falls in the Ascension Parish area, the entire Three Rivers Island Community falls in Livingston Parish.

The St. Amant Volunteer Fire Department assisted the Livingston Fire District 8 and 9 Departments with the structure fire.… Continue Reading
